How can I apply my practicum experience to life moving forward?
Sometime in my future I could create a business and if I do, this information would help me so much. If I do not create a business, this information is so valuable just for managing your own finances as an adult. I could make a sample income sheet for myself once I get a real job and write all my expenses and the money that is coming in and make sure that the expenses are not higher than the money I am making.

What are my plans for the rest of my time at UMD?
Next fall, my plan is to intern on Capitol Hill for (hopefully) Senator Ben Cardin. I am super excited for this opportunity to further my career and be able to see what I hopefully want to do for the rest for my life. Next spring, I am leaning toward studying abroad in Florence, Italy. This is something I have always wanted to do but I have not fully decided because of everything that I have missed because of the pandemic. Senior year I do not have any set plans yet but I definitely want to intern somewhere but also enjoy my last year of undergrad.
What are my plans post-graduation?
My plan right now is to take a year off and work for a representative or congressman on Capitol Hill. After this, I think I will have a better understanding of the rest of my life and whether I want to go to law school or not (which is the biggest decision in my life currently). I would love to work in a government position for my whole life but I also think that being a lawyer would be fulfilling as well. I would love to be a domestic violence prosecutor.
